Melbourne-based creative director and composer Nicole Brady is the founder of WLDR, a multisensory creative studio.
Through WLDR, she has directed Repast, a large-scale immersive XR installation reaching over 20,000 participants across Illuminate Adelaide and Spier Light Art Cape Town; Bloom, an interactive experiential work premiering in 2026; Flight Mode a VR work premiering in 2026, and Soloist, an action-platformer currently in development.
Her work has garnered honors from The Peabody Awards and IndieCade, alongside the Director's Award for Exceptional Doctoral Research at the University of Melbourne, in multisensory immersive creative practice.
Nicole brings a strategic lens to entertainment, luxury, and sport, shaping sonic identity and creative branding for global category leaders. She has played a key role in defining the brand voice for the NFL, MTV & Rolex, alongside music supervision for Pepsiās Super Bowl commercials and contributing to award-winning campaigns for BMW, JetBlue, and Netflix.
As a composer her works include Ricochet for Flinders Quartet commissioned through the 2024 Ascend Composers Commissioning Program, featuring in their 2026 concert season at Melbourne Recital Centre and a chamber orchestra and electronics version premiering internationally at the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg by Ensemble Resonanz during the opening concert of ICMC 2026. A new commission for Bronzewing will premiere at MRC in October 2026. Her other works include Sognare: Vignettes I-IV for piano trio (Omega Ensemble, Sydney Opera House / Hear Now LA), theatre work Libretto at Six O'Clock for mezzo-soprano and amplified string quartet (Lyris Quartet + Jessica Rauch), Qualifying for full orchestra (MSO), and theatre work Postlude for electronics, actor, amplified mixed ensemble (Omega Ensemble + Kendall Goddard). Her immersive album Lost Palace, recorded with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and released on Bright Shiny Things, was featured across editorial playlists on Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal.
In games, Nicole composed Neo Prefecture for the critically acclaimed We Are OFK, and has collaborated with Hitoshi Sakimoto and Basiscape Studio Tokyo for over a decade across iconic Japanese video game franchises including Final Fantasy, Tekken, and Valkyria Chronicles.
